I can't believe I haven't posted since 7th Feb! I don't know where the time has gone. I haven't even been commenting on your blogs, even though I've been enjoying reading them as usual. So please accept my apologies.
Its not that I've been doing anything too exciting, but I finally got one of my 12 unfinished tops basted and quilted. Yes, 12! I clearly enjoy piecing more than anything else.
I had this top finished last feb - yes a whole year ago! For some reason I decided to do really heavy quilting, even though I hadn't done any FMQ for some time. It went ok, but it was so time consuming. It took about 7 or 8 hours to quilt!
The back is just one big piece, but even so I had so much trouble getting it basted without creases, so in the end I got fed up and just accepted it was going to have a few.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, if my Mum doesn't want it I may give it to charity.
On the weight loss front - well it hasn't really happened. It took me weeks to get over the flu and get my strength back so I stopped exercising and I've only lost 1 pound. Ah well, its still 7 pounds overall.

Love the quilt and the quilting Shevvy.
I figured you were just relaxing and recuperating or off having fun. Glad to see this post this morning.
Every pound counts!
Love the quilt Shevvy.
Good to see you back too. I think we all need a break occasionally.
7 lbs is still good, and you haven't put any back on so that's great.
Glad to hear you are better and have not been wasting your time either! Well done with all the quilts.
Remember 7 pounds off is 7 pounds lighter. At least you haven't put it back on! i don't seem to be getting anywhere either and have still only lost my 3 kilos so we are as good/bad as each other !!! We mustn't give up !
Cheers
Helen
