Favourite Things Friday

This week its candles. I love having candles burning in the house, although I am very careful about only having them on in the room I am in. On a cold winter even curled up in front of the telly with a glass of wine and the candles flickering is so cozy.

My current favourite one which I love in the bathroom when I am having a long soak with a good book and maybe another glass of wine (can you see the theme here) is this one in a tin. It has the most delicate scent, sweet and naughty which wafts around the room when burning. It also burns cleanly, I get really frustrated when candles are badly made and don't burn straight.

And who couldn't love the name - Fairy Dust!

I love this FTF, I love candles at night, it creates a lovely ambience (says me with all the lights in the house on now at 10pm).
I agree it's very frustrating when a candle burns badly and drops bits of burnt wick into the wax.
Fairy Dust, a very cute name.

I love candles, but am forever forgeting to light them, which is why I have a daughter...she always lights up the house when she comes over. I love the name...must look for different scents. I do buy soy candles which last a long time.

I think candles are luxurious - the flickering, the scent, it's extremely romantic!!!

This reminded me I can get candles out again since there are no little curious hands living in my house now!

Love the name of that candle. It just evokes a feeling of whimsy and magic. Fabulous FTF Shevvy. I dont burn candles often enough.

You paint such a lovely picture Shevvy.

You should do candle commercials! I especially liked: "It has the most delicate scent, sweet and naughty which wafts around the room when burning." :-)

It's amazing what a little aromatherapy can do. I love candles too, and hate it when they're smoky or sooty. I can only imagine how nice that one is.

Candles and wine, a winning combination every time. The soak in the tube also sounds pretty good. Hope you get to do all three this weekend!

Mmm...Fairy Dust! That sounds just lovely! :o) Great FTF, Shevvy. I rarely get to burn candles, as they cause migraines for DH. I love the wonderful atmosphere candles create. Thanks for sharing! :o)
