300th post

I was planning a different post still on the theme of the festival of quilts but that can wait until tomorrow as I noticed just in time that this is my 300th post.

When I hit 200 it was around my 2nd blogiversary - well it's taken over 2.5 years more to get those next 100 posts done.

I did stop for a minute wondering why I had slowed my posting down so dramatically then I remembered - I went back to school and trained to be a counsellor in those years so my lifestyle changed completely.

But I feel like celebrating and I'm going to follow the same format I used last time. Just comment on this post naming a colour choice and I will make you a mini quilt. I can't say when I will get it done or what style it will be, it will depend on whatever takes my fancy at the time.

To give you some idea what to expect the Last time, Amanda asked for turquoise and red and I made her this. Sorry it's a crappy photo, somethings haven't changed over the years.

I will leave it open until a week today and find my old friend RNG on Wednesday evening 20th August.

300 posts? Wow, congratulations! (I'm almost three years into blogging and I haven't hit 100 yet!). Colours? Hmmmm...aqua and grey? Teal and raspberry? Scrappy? I think, if I'm lucky enough to win, I'll leave the final decision to you, if that's okay?!

Congrats on 300 posts, and keeping your blog going in this age of Instagram etc. I'm currently a little bit in love with navy and yellow :)

Congrats on 300 postal and congrats on being a fully fledged counsellor. If I am a lucky enough to win, my favourite colour combos are grey and citron or aqua and white. I'd pretty much be happy with anything g you made. Xxx

Congratulations on 300 posts and becoming a counsellor and I would love to win a mini quilt from your, despite the fact that I already have one. I am not sure what colours I like the best these days, mustard and aqua, all kinds of blues with all kinds of neutrals, but then again I always love red and orange too, even together or with neutrals. I'll stop now.

Happy 300th Shev!

I’ve slowed down on my posting a lot in the last two years as well . Maybe you and I are only posting when we have something exciting to say?

If I was lucky enough to be the recipient of a Shevvy original I think I’d go for pink and chocolate !

Woo-hoo! Congrats on both the 300th post AND the huge life changes. If I was lucky enough to win I think I would leave it entirely up to you what to make! Although I have a LOT of green quilts but a LOT of blue house and no quilts to match!

Hi Shevvy. Congratulations on 300 posts and the courage to retrain! But, being greedy - pick me, pick me, pick me!! Tutti-frutti ice cream colours if I'm lucky, please. Fingers, toes and everything crossed.
